Unfortunately this last trip was marked by a sharp decline in service and quality. The order was wrong the firebreathing burgers had 2 jalapeno slices on one and 3 on the other and both had but a few flakes of bacon. The salad for the non burger meal didn't arrive until the meal. The fish was overcooked. The waitress was abrupt and kept trying to serve someone ice tea which no one ordered.

I probably know more about this restaurant than I should given that my bf and his entire posse have either worked here in the past or still do. The "Urb" is a true locals scene for NW OKC. You will find regulars here that visit several times a month, if not a few times a week. The menu has a good variety of American fare. They serve comfort food that is straightforward and inexpensive. The atmosphere is low key and clean. Not fancy, but not cheap feeling. The only drawback would be limited draft beer and liquor selection. You won't get fancy cocktails or anything trendy. Again it's a straightforward place. My favorite meal is the Chelsea's Honey Chicken with honey mustard sauce, mushrooms, cheese and pepper bacon. But you can get anything from pizza to salads to steak to enchiladas. When you're looking to eat and relax, this is the place to hang with the people and avoid the hustle farther east on Memorial.

Pretty good, ordered the steak, baked potato and draft beer. No complaints here, but it was pretty average for a restaurant. Love the location

Great food and servixe. Dining area is large and the seating for each table provides enough space for 4 adults or 2 adults + 3 small children. Bar area is small and cramp so arrive early. Entire menu is awesome.

Went here for a school fundraiser for my sons school. Service was okay but food was horrible. The kids Mac n cheese looked like and tasted it came out of a store bought man n cheese box, the kids spaghetti looked like it came out of a can. We ordered two pizzas and they were both completely unimpressive in flavor and taste. Won't be going back here!

Interurban is your average neighborhood eatery. It has a little bit of everything and it all tastes good, just not amazing. I would give it 3.5 stars for the daily specials. We came tonight for burgers night, which is their 1/2lb burgers for 5.99. It's a great deal and the burgers are pretty delicious. The bacon, that's 4 stars!!! So yummy!!! I'm so glad I don't have access to that bacon everyday because I'd have to start popping Crestor with every meal.

We personally, did not have a good experience. The service was beyond slow and slightly rude, the food wait time was over 30 minutes and we never once got a drink refill. We ordered an app, and the server never pre-bussed it. Our drinks were wrong and he never came back to check for refills, the food was burnt and seemed like it sat on the expo line for ages... our server did not run our food out, nor check to see if we were happy with the food. He dropped our check off during the meal, and promptly walked off. We paid. When we left, the app plate, dinner plates (we did not touch half our food it was awful) and our bar glasses were still on the table.... It's like we were the dish pit. No one asked if we wanted another drink from the bar. No one asked, how we were doing.....Guess we wore an invisible suit. We dine at the one in Edmond, which is OUTSTANDING! This location, is sheer awful.

This place is a staple on our list of restaurants. The food is always fresh and you can tell they use fresh ingredients in their dishes. The service has always been excellent!

Trying to find a (non-fastfood) restaurant that is open after 9 pm on a Sunday is tough. Trying to find such a restaurant in North OKC is apparently an exercise in futility. Interurban proved to be the only option. Going into a restaurant while shrugging your shoulders is good because it means there are no preconceived notions. The fact that we showed up at 9:20 pm (the place closes at 10 pm) made me somewhat curious to see if they would be annoyed. The hostess was friendly; she told us that we were delaying her from going home but seemed as if she was genuinely joking, as opposed to being passive-aggressively snarky. The server was friendly but not talkative. The food was good. That's it. Nothing made me gag, or scrunch my nose in disgust. In fact, there were no facial contortions. There was nothing. I had a couple slices of Tuscan pizza (which consisted of chicken, some scallions, cheese, and nothing more), and a chicken fajita and left feeling full but not impressed in any way. It was very forgettable in its standard-ness. I think I was more unimpressed because of the price. It tasted no different than [__________]*, but was slightly more expensive. But again, nothing was awful. It was... conventional. And so, the "A-OK" seems an appropriate rating to this dining experience. Ooooh, before I forget: the salsa that was provided was quite delicious. Big chunks of slightly sweet tomato combined with some surprising heat from the peppers. I wasn't expecting such a kick (not terribly so, but a kick nonetheless) from this place. Easily the highlight of the meal. Or rather, highlight before the actual meal even began. The decor and ambiance is nicer than you would expect for a place like this. Very simple, clean, even somewhat modern for a place that falls into the category of middle-tier chain restaurant. No junk/doodads/trinkets plastered on the walls or ceilings; just some photos. Not a bad place to take a date, if you know that your date is not very adventurous when it comes to food. *Insert your choice of chain restaurant that serves American food.

Interurban has a great burger & Tuesday is a burger lunch for $5.00. Service was great, quick and seating is comfortable.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Cassandra was working as the carhop waitress, and she was wonderful. Very nice on the phone, and in person, just perfect. She is a VERY sweet individual and she helped my experience with this restaurant immensely. When I got back to my hotel (I travel often for work and was onsite for OU today) all of the food was absolutely to die for! My steak was cooked perfectly, but the bacon wrapped shrimp was to die for. Don't even get me started on how good the beer muffins are!! Everything about this place is a good reason for you to try it!

First time customer. Fair menu, but not impressed with quality. The ahi tuna was good, yet the accompanying "wild rice" is essentially a cheap mix of primarily white rice with a sprinkling of wild. All overpriced! The worst of it was the service. The waitress was a young blond who didn't know much and definitely could not get our order correct. Sent the first plate back. Had the manager comp the second one they sent out; it wasn't cooked enough. Left disappointed.

The server (Lindsey, I believe) was phenomenal. The food was edible. I mean, come on....it's Interurban! But what blew my mind was a horrid beer list. They have loaded the menu with a handful of specialty drinks but ignored the beer list. It's filled with crap like Bud Light and Coors and the south of the border selection. I understand a restaurant that sells the specialty drinks because they can charge $10 for $0.50 worth of liquor. But this restaurant is local and should have a better local beer selection! It's not difficult to get a service agreement with a COOP, Anthem, or Black Mesa. If you're having trouble, go ask Republic, Patriarch, TapWerks, or any of the other establishments that serve local brew!

Blech. This was so disappointing. I've eaten at Interurbans before and while they're not putting out culinary masterpieces, they're usually okay. I had the bacon-wrapped scallop special on Friday night served with rice and broccoli. It was terrible. The broccoli had no seasoning whatsoever. I mean, throw some Mrs. Dash on that stuff or something. It was not good. I thought the scallops would be large sea scallops with bacon wrapped on the exterior. I don't actually like bacon, so I was going to just fling that part off. Well, imagine my disappointment when the scallops were like tiny peas wrapped in giant balls of bacon. The scallops were tiny and way over cooked, so it was like eating little pellets of rubber. Thank goodness for the carbs (rice and beer biscuit) - at least those were edible.

We went here while we had family down and I can say I was not at all impressed. I got a cheeseburger with the fixins. When they brought out the food the nachos one of our family members ordered was cold. My meal was disgusting! They do not know apparently the concept of washing there lettuce as there was two small bugs running around my plate. The manager was rude and started to blame the poor waitress. I'm sorry it's not ok to shame a girl In front of customers in anyway. Long story short we will never be back!

They have upgraded the menu and food is much better in my view - so Im raising them to 4 solid stars. Good offerings that can satisfy a big group of different tastes. I would stay away from most of the mexican food but other than that the burgers, salads, sandwiches, etc are good. Have never tried the evening dinner specials but they sound good and priced right.

Not bad. Good for a typical chain restaurant. Nothing to complain about, and nothing to write home about.

Okay I must admit a bias, I went to high School with the owner so don't expect a bad review since he is bigger than me. But honestly if i had a choice between a national chain type restaurant and a local one i would choice Interurban. First, these types of places always have wide and varied cuisine menus so if you want a burger, or italian, or Tex-Mex they have it. I ten to go for salads here and they are excellent and fresh. I don't do burgers but my lunch mate did the $5 Tuesday special with fried okra and was very pleased. If you go for lunch at the Memorial location expect a wait even at 11:30. The choices in this area are very limited and interurban is for now the star in this location. Dinner is also good but don't expect quiet solitude while your eating, the place is open and modern with hard surfaces so if you feed off energy you are going to the right place.

Great salsa, cold draught beer. I was in the bar to watch a game and the TVs could have been more plentiful. Food was decent though.
